I was offered a room with AMAZING views of Edinburgh Castle & Gardens. It had favourable and absolutely perfect location a few steps away from Edinburgh Waverley. A Christmas market and a market were right next door.

Wanted to explore Edinburgh and this hotel was good home base for doing it. Extremely comfy beds, a sofa bed, a stone fireplace and central heating were a nice touch. And it was 10 minutes on foot from the downtown.

The location in a secure area was magnificent. There were a shopping area and the Christmas market nearby. - I was surprised at nearby Papii, they had some goodies and drinks. Rewritten: The location of the hotel in a safe area was wonderful, with shopping facilities and a Christmas market nearby.
